Pressure transducers convert pressure into an analog electrical signal or a digital output. When pressure measurement is critical, your pressure transducer matters.
There are countless applications for measuring the pressure of gas or liquid. Without a direct and accurate electrical signal. Generally, there are three types of analog electrical outputs with respect to pressure transducers: millivolt, 4-20 milliampere, and voltage. An analog-to-digital converter is the connecting device to controllers, processors, and computers.
At Validyne Engineering, we manufacture, long-lasting and reliable products. At present, the P55, P61 and P855 digital pressure transducers are the work-horses of countless labs, engine testing companies, and medical equipment manufactures and repair companies. Engineers and soil testing labs also use these products extensively.
Many mechanical systems use hydraulic technology. Car lifts in service stations are a perfect example, along with various types of air pumps. Without a way to measure pressure, systems would indeed be unreliable. Digital technology has taken the industry to a whole new level. It provides companies with the ability to monitor and report using enhanced, accurate pressure measurements.
Who you choose to partner with matters. With an entire array of pressure sensor and technical support, your company will benefit by partnering with us. We have years of industry experience and an entire operation with the best support and customer service in the industry.

Pressure transmitters and pressure transducers convert pressure into analog electrical signals. Pressure transmitters are used in a wide variety of process applications. They can also be used with other devices to measure altitude, depth, pressure loss, and water flow to name a few. They are also useful leak detection systems.
Low pressures are difficult to measure accurately. The sensitivity of Validyne Transducers to extremely low pressures is what makes us stand out. Pressure Transmitters can easily be connected to electrical circuits or calibrated to measure pressure that is relative to atmospheric pressure as well. Ask us about our P532 and DR800 Draft Range Transmitters.
This type of transmitter senses pressure differences between two ports and sends a 4-20mA output signal over a calibrated pressure range. Our draft range transmitter, model DR800 is ideal for measuring low pressures. This equipment can record pressures below 0.1”H2O.
We have a reputation for delivering well-supported and reliable products that last long. It all falls under the umbrella of customer service. We know that we have a reputation to live up to, and we do our very best to make sure we need our customer’s needs.

At Validyne Engineering, we are pleased to offer a quality line of pressure sensors including our high line pressure sensors, for low differential pressure e measurements. In addition, these pressure sensors are wet-wet differential pressure transducer.
Our Model DP360 is an excellent example of a differential pressure sensor capable of accepting high line pressures. This particular model measures small differential pressures at extremely high static line pressures. It can also measure high gage or differential pressure.
The DP360 can be calibrated for a full scale as low as 50psid while withstanding high static line pressures as high as 10,000 psig with a maximum 3% FS zero shift error. The Model DP360 is also ideal for use in core testing, hydraulic systems, and vehicle testing.
The DP363 is an example of a variable reluctance differential pressure transducer. This particular transducer is capable of a high line pressure of 10,000 psig. Differential pressure ranges of 5 psid to 125 psid are unidirectional or bidirectional.
This model features the ability to be taken apart for maintenance, cleaning, range changing, etc. This model also has a very small pressure cavity volume and volumetric change for full pressure excursion coupled with a high natural frequency.
Our models along with other pressure sensors and pressure transducers are available through our online catalog or by phone. Call us today 818.886.8488 and let our team of experts assist you in making the right selection for your project needs.

Validyne manufactures three models of low pressure sensors: DP45, MP45, and DP103. Each can be customized to meet the specific needs of our customers. Ask one of our team members for assistance in choosing the best model for you.
This low pressure variable reluctance sensor has a high natural frequency and low internal volume: it is available in full scale pressure ranges from +/- 0.6 up to 90 In H2O FS. The construction is symmetrical and allows for a small volume of displacement. This model is specifically manufactured for low pressure measurements of air and inert gases. It can be taken apart and cleaned or to change the full scale pressure range. Validyne also offers a variety of accessories for our DP45 model.
As its name implies, the DP103 very low pressure variable reluctance sensor is designed specifically to measure extremely low pressures and pressure changes, down to +/- 0.005 psid. It is best suited for air and inert gases. This model is exceptionally accurate in detecting small leaks and is also used in pressure null detection systems. It will also work as far as 1000 feet from the supporting electronics without any compromise in accuracy.
