Aerospace and Military
Validyne pressure sensors and pressure transmitters have been used in the aerospace and military industries for over 50 years.

The small and rugged pressure transducers have been used extensively in flight testing for air flow measurements inside passenger cabins. Very accurate temperature compensation from -65F to 250F is ideal for high altitude testing. The shock and vibration resistance allows the use of our pressure transducers in rocket test stands, military vehicles and in space.
The pressure drop across a working air filter is often very small – on the order of a few hundred Pascals, especially at low engine RPM – so a pressure sensor for this purpose must be sensitive to very low pressures.
Validyne pressure transducers have been used in a wide variety of aircraft flight test applications. Our Model P855 was used in the prototype Airbus A380.
Measuring the fluid level in tanks is a common requirement for almost every industrial process. This application describes how to use high line differential pressure transmitters to determine the level of liquid in a tank.
